Terms & Conditions

ONLINE ORDERS

By using or reading any pages on www.cornery.com.my (“Site”), you agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. In addition, by placing an order or utilizing any services under the Site, you also agree to these Terms and Conditions (Online Orders). The Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and these Terms and Conditions (Online Orders) are collectively known as “Terms & Conditions”. If you do not agree, you should not use the Site or place an order (as defined below).

These Terms & Conditions apply to single orders amounting to less than or equal to S$200.00 that are placed with Aramidth International Pte Ltd (“AIPL”) through the Site (each, an “order”).

  • The payment choices are either PayPal or credit card via www.cornery.com.my. Where payment is made by credit card, you acknowledge, agree and consent that your personal data such as your name and credit card number may be disclosed to third parties (located within and outside of Singapore) processing such credit card transactions, and, subject to their respective personal data privacy policies and applicable laws, may be used, processed and stored by such third parties to facilitate payments that you now or subsequently make for orders placed.
  • An order confirmation email will be sent to you immediately upon payment. In the event that you do not receive the email, please contact AIPL’s office at 62666201 or email orders@aramidth.com from Mondays to Fridays, 9.00am to 5.00pm for assistance.
  • Once an order is confirmed by AIPL, such order cannot be cancelled or modified by you without AIPL’s agreement in writing. Further, subject to applicable law, AIPL is not liable to provide a refund once an order has been confirmed and payment (full or part) has been received.
  • Self-Collection
    Self-collection can be made at Cornery – the popcorn gallery located at 14 Scotts Road, #01-37 Far East Plaza, Singapore 228213 between 11.30am to 9.00pm daily.If you fail to collect the order on the day you have selected, it will be released for sale.To arrange for a second self-collection date,please call AIPL’s office at 62666201 or email orders@aramidth.com from Mondays to Fridays, 9.00am to 5.00pm. As your order has to be produced again, the second self-collection may not be immediate, and the earliest date may be at least 2 days after the call or email.
  • Standard Delivery (Chargeable or Complimentary)
    Working day means any day which is not a Saturday, a Sunday or a public holiday in Singapore. Order will be delivered within 4 working days after confirmation of payment.  Delivery time is Mondays to Saturdays between 9.00am to 8.00pm. You must provide AIPL with complete and accurate delivery address information. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes not only the address that your order is going to, but also the name of its recipient. AIPL cannot be liable for the delivery of your order to the wrong address or the wrong person as a result of you supplying AIPL with incomplete or inaccurate information. In the event that there is no one to receive the order at the delivery destination, a second delivery attempt will be made.  After the second attempt, your order will be stored at the courier’s depot for you to self-collect.Delivery service is only available within Singapore. However, due to restrictions and limitations (placed by certain institutions and organisations), AIPL is unable to make deliveries to the following areas:

    • Changi Cargo
    • Country Clubs
    • Army Camps
    • Seletar Aerospace
    • Off-shore Islands such as Pulau Ubin
    • Turf Club Avenue
    • Sentosa
    • Singapore Prison Quarters
    • Airbase sites
    • SATS Inflight Catering Centre 1
    • ST Kinetics
    • Shipyards
    • Hospitals
    • Powergrid
    • Airport Boulevard, and all airport areas including areas within Changi Airport and Seletar Airport
  • Although AIPL will endeavour to fulfil your orders within the indicated timeframe, any fulfilment times stated or agreed or represented are estimates only. Fulfilment times may be affected by a number of factors, including those outside of AIPL’s control such as failure of equipment and/or bad weather.
  • Orders must be checked and shall be deemed accepted if no errors / discrepancies are raised immediately upon delivery or collection. AIPL reserves the right not to entertain any further complaints thereafter.Refusal of any item by the recipient will still be considered as order delivered or collected and no refund will be made.
  • Foods are perishable by nature and have different physical qualities like shapes, sizes, taste, and colour. All tastes and preferences are unique to the individual. Should you find the food unsatisfactory, please call AIPL’s office at 62666201 or email orders@aramidth.com from Mondays to Fridays, 9.00am to 5.00pm and AIPL may issue a replacement upon receipt of the original unsatisfactory item. All replacements are at AIPL’s discretion and AIPL may refuse a replacement for any reason at any time.
  • Any offers, promotions and vouchers issued for Cornery – the popcorn gallery are not available for online orders unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices and information are subject to change without prior notice and will be effective immediately once published on the Site.
  • AIPL reserves the right to accept or reject any orders, including requests for specific time deliveries.
  • Maximum S$200.00 of orders on the Site. For amounts above that, please call AIPL’s office at 62666201 or email orders@aramidth.com from Mondays to Fridays, 9.00am to 5.00pm.
  • Access to the Site may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond AIPL’s reasonable control. AIPL disclaims all liability for any malfunction, suspension or interruption of the Site, including inaccessibility due to network problems.
  • If AIPL is prevented or delayed in the performance of any or all of AIPL’s obligations under this Agreement due to an event of force majeure, then AIPL shall be excused performance or the punctual performance, as the case may be, of its said obligations and AIPL shall not be liable to you (whether in damages or otherwise) for such non-performance or delay in performance. “Force majeure” means any event which is beyond AIPL’s control, and includes exceptional weather conditions, floods, droughts, storms, lightning, high winds, typhoons, earthquakes, natural disasters, acts of God, aircrafts or aerial objects, explosion, fire, war, hostilities, insurgencies, terrorisms, civil commotions, riots, strikes or lock-outs on a city or industrial scale, industrial disputes, industrial actions by workmen, shortage of labour, goods, food or materials, breakdown of machinery or tools or systems; and acts or regulations of government and political interferences with AIPL’s usual operations.
  • Without prejudice to anything in the Privacy Policy, by placing an order, you confirm that you authorize, agree and consent to AIPL collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing personal data about you (whether provided by you before, during or after placement of the order, or that AIPL otherwise possesses about you) for the following purposes: (i) facilitating, processing, dealing with, administering, managing such order and payment for such order and any subsequent order that you may place; (ii) carrying out due diligence and other screening activities, or to prevent or investigate any fraud or breach of contract or unlawful activity, or complying with or as required by any applicable law, governmental or regulatory requirements of any relevant jurisdiction; (iii) conducting research, analysis and development activities (including but not limited to data analytics, surveys and/or profiling) to enhance AIPL’s products, services and/or operations, and/or otherwise for AIPL’s business operations and purposes; (iv) storing, hosting, backing up (whether for disaster recovery or otherwise) of such personal data, whether within or outside Singapore (collectively, “Purposes”). AIPL may disclose personal data about you to AIPL’s affiliates and/or third party service providers and/or agents (“Representatives”), who perform certain functions for AIPL in connection with the Purposes, so long as disclosure is necessary to enable such Representatives to perform the said functions. The Representatives may be located within or outside Singapore. In this regard, you hereby acknowledge, agree and consent that the said Representatives may, to the extent necessary to perform the said function, collect, use, disclose, process and/or store your personal data.
  • The Terms & Conditions, and any disputes arising from or under the Terms & Conditions, shall be governed by Singapore law. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore regarding any such dispute. A person who is not a party to Terms & Conditions shall have no right under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act to enforce any part of Terms & Conditions.
  • AIPL may vary the Terms & Conditions from time to time and any use or continued use of the Site shall be deemed acceptance of the Terms & Conditions. The Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between AIPL and you with respect to your use of the Site in regards to online orders and dealings in connection with online orders.
